It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Morgan Brown, a beloved father, grandfather, and esteemed member of the community, who departed this life in Skewen at the age of 68 on October 15, 2023.

Born in Cardiff on March 2, 1955, Morgan was known for his profound commitment to his family and career. He graduated from the University of Wales with a degree in Engineering and went on to build a successful career as a civil engineer, contributing to numerous significant infrastructure projects throughout his professional life. His dedication to his craft earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Morgan was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking, fishing, and woodworking. He often shared his love for nature with his family, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors that will be cherished forever. Morgan also actively volunteered for local charities, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the betterment of his community.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah; his children, James and Emily; and his grandchildren, Lily and Noah. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Brown, who instilled in him the values of kindness and hard work.

A memorial service will be held on October 22, 2023, at St. David’s Church in Skewen, where family and friends are invited to celebrate Morgan’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the local charity, Helping Hands, which was dear to his heart.

Morgan Brown will be remembered for his unwavering strength, love for his family, and the positive impact he had on all who knew him. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
