Doris Martyna ANSARI On Wednesday, 11th June 2025, passed away peacefully in St Austell Community Hospital, aged 84 years.

Cherished wife of Asad (deceased), beloved mother of John, Zeeba and Deeba and "mother-outlaw" to Alison and Jenny.

Doris gave over 40 years of public service to the citizens of Truro and the people of Cornwall.

She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family, and by everyone who knew her.

The funeral service to celebrate Doris's life will take place at 1pm on Monday 30th June in Truro Cathedral, followed by a private interment at Truro Public Cemetery. Please feel free to wear bright colours.

Everyone is welcome to join us afterwards for light refreshments and drinks from 2.30pm onwards in the Great Hall, The Alverton Hotel, Truro.
